Who Doesn't Use Promotional Advertising?
Who doesn't have some form of promotional advertising going on. It has become a worldwide thing. I remember when you did not see people wearing the name of a company on a shirt unless they worked there. Now it seems that the more a company charges for a labeled t-shirt, the more popular it will be. Even if you think it's silly you end up going along with it. It is hard to find items that are plain.
Other smaller businesses have begun using this method and there is only one reason for this, because it works. Local restaurants offering t-shirts you can buy or bumper stickers that they hand out for free. Stop for your morning coffee and they will offer to sell you a refillable mug with their logo advertised right on it. This not only means that you pay less for your coffee or soft drinks but you are also helping the environment by not discarding your cups.
So, you may be wondering why promotional advertising? Well, you might be surprised to find out that this is absolutely the best way to advertise. It is relatively inexpensive to do and it provides your customers with a great item that they want to have. Overall, there are no downfalls in this type of advertising, because these items will be seen by others and will be used often.
Now think of some of the other ways that companies convince you to promote their business. Have you ever thought about all those discount key rings for the grocery stores, hardware stores and office supply companies? Did you even realize that by putting all those discount cards on your keys you are promoting business for them?
Whether its a key chain or a promotional bag, you too are part of the promo campaign of different places. Any place that gives you an item that makes sense to be used, will get used. You become a walking advertisement without even realizing it.
